BSL, Deaf Way, and Human Rights

Femaura’s BSL, Deaf Way, and Human Rights programmes are designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to bridge communication gaps and advocate for Deaf rights. Our British Sign Language (BSL) courses offer a solid foundation for those new to the language, with training designed to build confidence in everyday interactions with Deaf communities.

In addition to language learning, we provide Deaf Way training, which delves into the cultural, historical, and social aspects of Deaf life, promoting a greater understanding of Deaf identity and the Deaf community. Our Human Rights courses focus on the rights and protections for Deaf individuals, equipping you with the knowledge to be an advocate for change and equality.

Through a combination of practical skills and advocacy, these courses empower both Deaf and hearing individuals to foster inclusion and equality in all aspects of life.
